Helloo

Sorry about lack of blogging recently

we're all good not much been happening to report about though

I went up to Brum uni with Lou to see the place and wot her biochem course was like up there. Surprisingly(?) nice university, centered within Birmingham, it's a campus one and even has its own train station. Some very charming old bits and there's a really good art gallery with examples from early religious art right up to today - so I enjoyed myself while Lou was shown what they had to offer - Nottingham next week, which has a really good reputation for biochem - and I'm told one of the nicest campus's's ( please advise on aposffs's Simon ? ) so we shall see - Lou has offers from Bristol, Notts and Brim

The drama this week was that our beloved dog Bertie got hold of some rat poison we'd laid down for a mouse ( means mice! ) which we had evidence of in our house. I immediately phoned the vet who told me to make him sick - it didn't work so we rushed him up to the vet who injected him with something and ( fingers crossed ) a lot of the poison was ejected then they filled him up with charcoal. He's having 3 days of blood tests and we'll know final results tomorrow - we felt awful - thankfully the vet bill has brought us back down to earth again!

We're going to stay at Cosy Cottage, Kingsand again for a week 12 April - so that will be fun, see mum and i think some other friends are coming down to see us there too - should be good, we like it v much - just hope my dogs alright to chase the rabbits! Jx

No apostrophes needed, it's a plural.
Happy to help.

Brum's not as bad as it used to be since they knocked down the bullring. Last time I was in the city centre (which was about 8 years ago) it actually seemed quite nice and happening. Sorry to hear you've got mice - we had our first rat in the house this winter, but the poison seems to have done for it without taking out the rabbit, hamster or children! Hope Bertie gets better soon
