Hogs

Just about to finish the weekend with the summary of the weekend's Premier League action (bliss--noone call with the results). Yesterday, I spent some time teaching kids to flycast, as part of the Trout Unlimited youth program at the local gun club (of which I am also a member). Great day for kids--they get to blast all sorts of firearms, shoot arrows, so flyfishing seems a little tame. That was the good side of my civic activities this week. The bad side was that I gave up my English teaching to the Polish woman. Once again, she hadn't done her homework, so I told her if she couldn't be bothered I wasn't going to waste my time.
Rather than the relief I thought I'd feel, I'm racked by guilt.

Fishing today at Graystones Preserve, a place I've joined in the Poconos, about 1.75 hours drive away. Beautiful river, and some lovely wild fish and a couple of huge ones that were stocked a few years ago. Back home....chicken on the grill and now some SOCCAH!
